At a Florida Managing Partners Association event he discussed “Diversity: a Goal Worth Pursuing or a Failed Experiment?” Rivero belongs to the ABA Diversity Committee and mentors minority lawyers. He sponsored a DREAMer, one of the 700,000 young people who came to the U.S. as children of undocumented immigrants, and employed her as a law clerk to help her pay for college.
